Genesis and Foundational Distinction

The Alpha Delta Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was formally chartered at Louisiana Tech University on December 7, 1985. The chapter's roots began over a decade earlier when the "No Deposit No return" line crossed the burning sands in 1976, forming the initial LaTech Undergrads.

AD^2 holds the unique distinction of being the first three-letter undergraduate chapter in Omega's history. Recognizing their engineering and science focus at a technical school, the brothers shrewdly adopted the official name shortening to AD^2, becoming the fraternity's first and only "truly squared" chapter.

Over the last four decades, the chapter has fostered an enduring legacy of fraternal bonds and mentorship. Its members have consistently demonstrated leadership at all levels of the fraternity and within their communities, excelling as engineers, executives, artists, and community leaders.
